Asako Toyoda

Role: Asako Toyoda was appointed Director in 2025, CRO in 2024, and Executive Vice President, Head of Global Governance in 2023.

Responsibilities: She oversees Group Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, General Affairs, and the Decision Making Process (Management of the BoD, etc.)

Experience: Before she joined NTT DATA Corporation, she served as governmenal official working for IT policy at Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and Ministr of Internal Affairs and Communitaion. Also she served as first secretary in Japanese Embassy in France, Project Manager for IT Research at National Institute of ICT, and Vice Mayor and CIO (Chief Information Officer) in Hiroshima city. After joining NTT DATA Corporation, she was in charge of Business development, Creation of business synergy among group companies, and served as Head of Sales and Marketing at Global Marketing Headquarters, and as Senior Vice President, Head of Global Strategy.

Additional information: Asako earned a Master's Degree in Engineering from Tohoku University in 1990, served as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University in 1995, and earned a Master's Degree (DESS) in Justice from Paris 1 University in 2003.
